Networking

Business After Hours: Each month, network with the movers and shakers in the community to gain valuable contacts for your business. Hosted by Chamber members, these events avarage around 100 attendees.

Committees: You are invited to join any of our 11 committees and work with fellow Hamden business leaders implementing policies and programs aimed at improving the climate for business in Hamden. For more information, please view our commmittees page.

Seminars: Attend quarterly Educational seminars, lectures to help sharpen business skills.

Marketing

Website Directory: As a member your business will be listed by category on our website. Your business profile within the site is a direct link to your website and email address. For enhance listing opportunities please visit our website sponsorship page.

- For additional marketing exposure and benefit, all Chamber members will automatically be listed on the town of Hamden's official website.

Referrals: We put dollars in your pocket by referring business to only Chamber members. The Chamber office also has a "Business to Business" section where visitors can obtain town information and marketing material from members. Stop by the chamber office to make sure your business is represented.

Annual Business Expo: Market your business and services to the community and network with over 100 vendors at the Chamber's Annual Busines Expo held every April.

Member 2 Member Marketing: The Chamber's newest program specifically designed to increase sales and visibility among Members. The program is Free and participating members are listed on the website with their specific discount's offered.

Newsletter: You can advertise several ways in the Chamber newsletter which reaches 500 Hamden businesses.

Member 2 Member Advertising is a great opportunity for businesses to gain exposure by submitting a flyer in our monthly newsletter. Each month averages between 8-10 businesses who utilize this method of targeted advertising.

- Flyer submission for Members: $75.00
- Non-Profit Members: $50.00
- Non-Hamden Chamber Members: $100.00

You can also advertise in the "Marketplace" section of our newsletter. Businesses can submit an ad either one time, targeted months or for the year.

- Business Card Size: $35.00
- Large Ad: $50.00

Year-Round Publicity: As a valued member of the Hamden Chamber, we want to promote you in our newsletter. Fax or email us a press release when you hire new employees, have a new product or service to promote, win an award and more. We're proud of our membership and we want to help you get the word out.

Member Mailing Labels: Increase your businesses mailing by purchasing the entire Hamden Chamber's mailing labels for $35.00

Host Site: Opportunities to host events to showcase your business (i.e. Business After Hours, Seminars, Lectures, Receptions, etc.)

Ribbon Cutting Ceremony: The Chamber organizes a ribbon cutting / photo opportunity with local officials to commemorate new business to Hamden's community. Photos will be located on the Chamber's and the town's website.
