Holiday Home Tour
The Hamden Chamber of Commerce will present the 2007 Holiday Home Tour presented by Calcagni Associates on December 1, 2007, from 10am to 3pm. The tour will showcase six unique homes in Hamden. A different local florist will decorate each of the homes for the holidays. This years tour include the following homes;
The McCarthy Residence - 139 Gilles Road - decorated by Flowers from the Farm
The Henrici Residence - 45 Ives Street - decorated by Hamden Florist
The Nicotra Residence - 1080 Ridge Road - decorated by Glen Terrace
The Kiraly Residence - 51 North Woods Road - decorated by Pink Petunia
The Webb Residence - 81 North woods Road - decorated by Purple Pansies
The Bonanno/Kroop Residence - 144 Blue Hills Road - decorated by Lucian's Florist & Greenhouse
The Holiday Home Tour is organized by the Hamden Chamber of Commerce to benefit the Hamden Education Foundation. The Foundation funds innovative and pilot programs that benefit to students and teachers in the Hamden Public School system. The Foundation has funded a digital production lab and fitness room at the high school, a middle school football team and awarded 66 mini-grants to teachers to fund special projects for their classrooms. Dedicated volunteer board members, caring sponsors and donors have truly made this one of the most successful foundations in the State of Connecticut. During the tour you may enjoy a delicious lunch and Holiday Craft Bazaar at West Woods School, 350 West Todd Street. Area restaurants have donated soups and sandwiches for this special event. Please be sure to stop by and enjoy the spirit of this wonderful holiday season. In case of inclement weather, the event will be held on December 2nd.
