Annual Meeting & Luncheon
Connecticut Governor M. Jodi Rell will be among the speakers at the Hamden Chamber of Commerce 82nd Annual Meeting on Wednesday, June 27, 2007. This event which is sponsored by The United Illuminating Company will be held at Laurel View Country Club, 310 West Shepard Avenue in Hamden.
Former Congressman Rob Simmons, who currently serves as the first Business Advocate for the State of Connecticut, will be the keynote speaker. He will discuss his role as business advocate and how his advocacy will enable the growth of small and "micro" businesses in the State of Connecticut.
A review of the Hamden Chamber's activities for the past year and plans for the future will be presented by Nancy Dudchik, President. Several individuals will also be recognized for their volunteer efforts. Officers and Directors of the Hamden Chamber for 2007-2009 will be installed by Mayor Craig Henrici. They are; Michael Alexander, Esq., Alexander & Crow, Dale Kroop, Economic Development-Town of Hamden and Amy Rosen, Quinnipiac University.
