The purpose of the Hamden Women in Business Committee is to educate, support, and enrich the personal and professional lives of women within the community. This committee which is made up of over 45 business women is co-chaired by Beth Cantor of Calcagni Associates & Donna Urice of Arbonne International
The WIB meets on the 4th Thursday of each month at 11:30.am at Arden House, 850 Mix Avenue. Several times a year the group also holds a "WIB Networking Business After Hours" at various locations starting at 5:30.pm. Through a variety of fundraising efforts, the committee sponsors a scholarship for female Hamden High School senior who is pursuing a career in Business.
The meeting format begins with a networking luncheon followed by dynamic speakers who address relevant issues for women in the workplace. A donation of $5.00 is suggested to support our Women in Business Scholarship fund.
